ASA 55 is a São Paulo-based company born from a passion for photography, people, and cultural discovery.

We started in 2019 with guided Photo Tours through São Paulo’s historic center, but soon realized photography was more than great shots — it’s a way to connect with places and people in a deeper, more human way.

In 2024, we became ASA 55 — a name that reflects the sensitivity of analog photography (ASA), the freedom to explore (asa also means "wing" in Portuguese), and 55 for Brazil’s country code.

    Victor Lima (Ciba), founder of ASA 55, is a photographer passionate about connecting with people and documenting their stories.

    With a strong love for travel and street photography, he designs immersive experiences that bring travelers closer to authentic cultures and striking landscapes.

    Believing deeply in photography’s power to foster human connection, Victor takes part in every experience and collaborates closely with fellow photographers, local communities, and partners to craft meaningful journeys.
