About the Journey

Over the course of seven days, we will travel through the Cusco region and the Sacred Valley, exploring small Andean towns, historic centers, local markets, and breathtaking landscapes that reveal the cultural depth of Peru.

This is not a rushed sightseeing tour. The expedition is designed to give you time to walk, observe, connect, and photograph with intention. We’ll experience places where ancient traditions are still part of everyday life, allowing for meaningful encounters and strong visual storytelling.

We combine iconic destinations like Machu Picchu with immersive cultural experiences, including traditional weaving communities, local ceremonies, and one of the most vibrant popular festivals in the Andes. The goal is to create space for authentic moments, whether in the middle of a celebration or during a quiet scene of daily life.

Itinerary Overview

Our itinerary is designed to give you a clear idea of the places we’ll visit. However, it may be adjusted depending on weather conditions and the interests of the group.

Day 1 - July 12 (Sunday)
Cusco

Arrival of the group, welcome reception, and a welcome dinner. A moment to get to know each other and introduce the expedition.

Overnight Cusco

Day 2 — July 13
Sacred Valley

A full day exploring the Sacred Valley, with walks and visits through the region. We’ll photograph landscapes, villages, and scenes of everyday Andean life.

Overnight Machu Picchu Pueblo

Day 3 — July 14
Machu Picchu

Guided visit to Machu Picchu, with time for observation, photography, and a deeper understanding of the site.

Overnight Cusco

Day 4 — July 15
Paucartambo

Travel to Paucartambo and begin our immersion in the Festivity of the Virgen del Carmen. Possibility to witness preparations, behind-the-scenes moments, and evening celebrations filled with music, dances, and fireworks.

Day 5 — July 16
Paucartambo & Tres Cruces

Early departure before dawn to watch the sunrise at Tres Cruces viewpoint.
Return to town and continued immersion in the festivities throughout the day.

Overnight Cusco

Day 6 — July 17
Chinchero

Visit to Chinchero and its surrounding villages. Meeting with local weavers and participation in a traditional ritual.

Overnight Cusco

Day 7 — July 18
Cusco

Visit to a local street market and the city’s most popular fair. Farewell lunch and closing gathering.

End of the journey.

Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 7 days before the start of the expedition.

Please note: Full payment must be completed at least one week prior to the trip’s departure date.
